Cloud Infrastructure Planning and Optimization Expert

SAP is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Infrastructure Planning and Optimization Expert to join our Strategic Cloud Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our cloud solution areas, ensuring accurate forecasting, and driving strategic initiatives in cloud infrastructure planning, AI, and FinOps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic partner to our cloud solution areas, building a detailed understanding of their infrastructure strategies and planning processes.
  • Support the development of infrastructure planning solutions and processes for new cloud platforms and technologies, including AI consumption demand.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy by analyzing various data sources and providing continuous improvements.
  • Drive strategic initiatives in cloud infrastructure planning, AI, and FinOps, collaborating closely with stakeholders from SAP Solution Areas, Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery, and Hyperscaler Partners AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
Requirements:
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, AI, and other technology topics, with a willingness to dive deeper.
  • Previous consulting experience, stakeholder management experience, and the ability to build strong relationships internally and with external partners.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to solve complex problems with an analytical approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Very strong motivation.
