Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Specialist in Contaminated Site Management to oversee various aspects of waste disposal and environmental protection. This role involves a comprehensive approach to managing waste and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Waste Management Services: Delivering expert services in waste disposal, soil conservation, and management of material flows.
  • Technical Planning: Developing specialized plans including soil utilization strategies, expert assessments, and cost evaluations for major infrastructure initiatives.
  • Client Consultation: Engaging with clients, participating in project meetings, and liaising with regulatory bodies and contractors.
  • Project Oversight: Leading the planning process and ensuring high-quality standards throughout project execution.
  • Electronic Waste Tracking: Managing systems for tracking electronic waste and ensuring proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Project Management: Overseeing investigation and remediation projects related to waste disposal.
  • Tender Documentation: Creating and reviewing documentation for tender submissions.
Candidate Profile:
  • Educational Background: Degree in natural sciences or engineering disciplines.
  • Professional Experience: Extensive experience in waste management, soil science, and handling contaminants on large-scale construction projects.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with laws governing soil, water, and waste management, as well as electronic waste tracking protocols.
  • Certifications: Certification for working in contaminated environments is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and assertiveness abilities.
