Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified professional to oversee and manage various aspects of waste disposal and soil protection. This role involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and effective waste management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Waste Management Services: Delivering comprehensive solutions in waste disposal, soil conservation, and management of material flows.
  • Specialist Planning: Developing technical documentation such as soil utilization plans, expert assessments, and risk evaluations for major infrastructure initiatives.
  • Client Advisory: Providing expert advice to clients, engaging in project meetings, and liaising with regulatory bodies and contractors.
  • Project Oversight: Leading the planning phases and ensuring the quality and integrity of all projects undertaken.
  • Electronic Waste Tracking: Managing the processes related to the tracking and disposal of electronic waste.
  • Project Management: Coordinating investigation and disposal operations effectively.
  • Tender Documentation: Creating and reviewing documents for bidding processes.
Candidate Profile:
  • Educational Background: A degree in natural sciences or engineering disciplines.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in waste management, soil science, and handling contaminants on large-scale construction projects.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with laws governing soil, water, and waste management, along with procedures for electronic waste tracking.
  • Certifications: Certification for work in contaminated environments is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and assertiveness capabilities.
