Job Description:

Société Générale Assurances is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Praktikum im Investment Banking I Global Markets I Contracts for Difference (CFD) (m/w/d). As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing customer support and answering inquiries related to the functionality and trading of CFDs on our Société Générale CFD trading platform.
  • Collaborating with internal departments, including Sales, Trading, IT, Compliance, and Legal, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform management decisions and drive business growth.
  • Conducting ongoing analysis of competitors in the domestic and international markets.
  • Developing and maintaining an Intranet portal to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Preparing sales presentations for internal and external use.
  • Setting up and maintaining new base values as CFDs and updating existing ones.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a university or college degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field).
  • Strong interest in capital markets and derivatives.
  • Knowledge of CFDs and derivatives is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in German and English.
  • Fundamental knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, and experience with data analysis tools (SQL and/or VBA) is a plus.
