About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Verification Engineer to join our team at OSB AG. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our safety-critical embedded software for aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Test Case Development: Develop and implement software test cases against software requirements specifications, using Python or IBM - Rational Test Real Time (RTRT).
  • Test Strategy Adaptation: Adapt existing test strategies to cover the needs of new applications.
  • Test Case Specification: Perform software test case specification against software requirements specification (high-level requirements testing and low-level requirements testing).
  • Test Procedure Development: Develop and implement software low-level and high-level test procedures.
  • Test Case Tracing: Trace test cases against software requirements.
  • Software Verification: Perform manual and automatic software verification tests of developed software in simulation environments and at hardware-in-the-loop test facilities.
  • Test Reporting: Generate test reports.
  • Test Review: Review software test cases and results.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate engineer (software/electronic engineering).
  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in software application.
  • Language Skills: Good English capabilities, both spoken and written.
  • Programming Skills: Programming experience in C, Ada95, and/or Assembler Code.
  • Code Analysis: Experience in code analysis.
  • Microprocessor Architecture: Good knowledge of microprocessor architecture or In-Circuit-Debugger (e.g., Lauterbach).
  • Development Cycle: Experienced with V-model development cycle (preferably of safety-critical software according to RTCA/DO-178), Python Test Script Language, In-Circuit-Debugger (Lauterbach), MISRA guidelines (C), DOORS, DIMENSIONS, Synergy, and IBM - Rational Test Real Time.
