As a researcher at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, you will be part of a multidisciplinary research project focused on the development of a novel electrochemical luminescence-based sensor system for diagnostics. The project aims to design and implement a measurement system capable of detecting electrochemical luminescence signals generated within a small, microfluidic measurement cell through a biological reaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of the measurement system, including the generation of excitation signals, signal detection, amplification, and processing.
- Collaboration with a team of researchers from various disciplines, including microelectronics, sensor technology, microfluidics, biology, and system integration.
- Implementation of the system, including the development of hardware and software components.
- Testing and validation of the system.
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as physics, electrical engineering, medical technology, or nanoengineering.
- Excellent knowledge of electronic circuit design and signal processing.
- Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, FPGAs, and programming is an advantage.
- Knowledge of optical detectors is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
