We are seeking a highly skilled Tender & Bid Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at SeaRenergy. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and preparing proposal concepts for complex engineering projects in the offshore wind energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and prepare proposal concepts for complex engineering projects in the offshore wind energy sector, working closely with our engineering department and management team.
- Formulate technical bid strategies and monitor the tender process to ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct technical analysis and draft proposal documents in collaboration with our engineering department and management team.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, QHSE, Operations, Recruiting, Controlling, and external partners such as law firms, subcontractors, and bidding partners for the preparation of technical proposals and commercial offers.
- Prepare technical calculations and project budgets, identifying technical opportunities and risks in the bidding process and initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Continuously improve technical processes and proposals to ensure maximum competitiveness during the bidding phase.
- Review and revise technical documents provided by clients or internal departments, coordinating the creation of these documents.
- Monitor tender platforms to identify technical business opportunities.
- Completed studies in engineering, preferably with a focus on offshore, renewable energy.
- Minimum 1 year experience in tender management, ideally in the offshore wind industry.
- Proven track record in creating complex technical calculations and project budgets.
- Experience in evaluating and analyzing technical customer proposals.
- Experience in developing technical proposal concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to technical details and a structured working approach.
- Ability to meet technical deadlines under pressure without compromising on quality.
- Skill in deriving and structuring technical work packages for (internal) stakeholders based on customer proposals or requests.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of technical processes and proposals to ensure maximum competitiveness during the bidding phase.
- Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills with both internal and external partners.
