C/C++ Developer for Embedded Systems

Aeromaritime is seeking a skilled Software Developer for Embedded Systems

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Development Department as a Software Developer (m/f/d) Embedded Systems Application. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and porting SW drivers, applications, and the GUI for embedded systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and port SW drivers, applications, and the GUI for embedded systems
  • Apply modern SW design methods and tools, such as UML and Rhapsody
  • Create code for the target system using modern SW development methods
  • Develop test plans and procedures and verify the developed components
  • Test and analyze errors, support system integration
  • Plan your work packages in coordination with the project team
  • Develop studies and implement them according to specifications
  • Specify, conceive, realize, test, and document your work results up to system integration and series release
Your Profile:
  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Sound knowledge of programming languages C/C++ and common tools for embedded programming
  • Experience with embedded systems, preferably ARM-based target systems
  • Familiarity with UML, ideally with tools such as Rhapsody
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of communication protocols
  • Team-oriented way of thinking and working
  • Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
