Job Description

Dr. Mach GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software for medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop embedded software for medical devices and electrical medical devices, adhering to industry standards such as IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
  • Create software architecture and design, ensuring high-performance and reliability.
  • Implement and optimize real-time operating systems (RTOS) and firmware to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate embedded software, ensuring compliance with medical device standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with medical device hardware components.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and risk assessments to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and clinical experts, to develop innovative lighting solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or proven experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, preferably within the Med Tech or medical device industry.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++, with experience in embedded systems development.
  • Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and their peripherals.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and firmware development.
  • Familiarity with medical device development standards, such as IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
