Quality is integral to the Mercedes-Benz vision. Within the Quality Management sector of Mercedes-Benz Vans, our Project Quality team plays a pivotal role in the development of our electric VAN series. We ensure that all initiatives align with our customers' high expectations and engage actively from the inception of the project to the start of production.
The Quality Project Management team undertakes a variety of engaging tasks:
- Assisting management in the preparation of executive documents.
- Facilitating and documenting executive meetings, including committee oversight.
- Coordinating interdisciplinary topics.
- Tracking key performance indicators related to quality data and significant issues.
- Organizing and contributing to management workshops and events.
In this role, you will encounter several learning opportunities:
- Understanding how various sectors necessary for vehicle quality interconnect and collaborating across interfaces with product management, procurement, production, development, and logistics in agile project teams.
- Gaining insights into diverse tools for managing vehicle projects within quality and mastering their effective application.
- Assisting in the creation of presentations, process diagrams, and reports, ensuring compliance with standards and gradually populating them based on data availability.
- Enhancing reporting efficiency through the use of internal digital tools.
- Participating in workshops addressing exciting quality challenges in a global context.
- Adopting a solution-oriented mindset and taking initiative within projects.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A background in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field of study.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- An interest in project management within an international setting.
- A quick understanding of technical and business concepts, coupled with a structured and independent work approach.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, with a genuine interest in networking and engaging with diverse perspectives.
