Your Responsibilities
- Organizing and leading user research initiatives (e.g., qualitative one-on-one moderated usability testing, quantitative unmoderated online studies, ideation workshops with clients, etc.)
- Assisting in the preparation, execution, and analysis of automated unmoderated user studies (similar to complex online surveys, but involving interactive prototype tasks, click tests, card sorting, etc.) using tools like UserZoom, UserTesting, etc.
- Evaluating existing data (e.g., tracking data, customer feedback, free-text comments) to derive insights and formulate hypotheses for further investigation
- Assisting in the measurement of UX KPIs, objectives, and metrics
- Managing research-related operational tasks such as participant logistics, preparing presentation materials, etc.
- Facilitating effective communication within the UX and product management/development teams
Your Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Applied Psychology, Computational Linguistics, Software Engineering, Interaction Design, etc.)
- Experience with research methodologies (can include research outside of UX)
- Familiarity with experimental design, research planning, conducting studies/experiments, statistical analysis, and reporting
- Ability to work independently, manage small-scale projects, collaborate with various stakeholders, and handle operational and administrative tasks
- Language proficiency: fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
