As a seasoned Operations Manager at Amazon Deutschland N13 Transport GmbH, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities at a specific location to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery to customers.

You will lead a team focused on maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality, as well as spearhead projects to enhance productivity across the network.

• Establish and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing, ensuring a healthy work environment for all team members.
• Analyze and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity levels, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee projects to streamline processes and improve service quality, collaborating with senior colleagues to standardize shift procedures.
• Mentor new managers and provide guidance to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

You will work shifts at one of our locations, overseeing operations to maximize productivity. Your role will involve promoting a safety culture, maintaining quality standards, and leading process improvements. Each day may involve routine team management, operational tasks, process enhancement, and broader operational responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Logistics.
• Leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results.
• Relevant experience in stakeholder communication, with the ability to effectively engage with colleagues and external partners.
• Proficiency in using data for decision-making, with a strong analytical mindset.
• Advanced English and German language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methods, with a strong understanding of process improvement principles.
• Previous logistics experience, with a deep understanding of supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with the ability to effectively use tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
