Collaboration Platform Support Specialist

Position Overview

The Collaboration Platform Support Specialist is tasked with ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of the Continental Collaboration Platform, a vital tool for collaborative software development and integration across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all users of the platform, both internal and external, addressing inquiries and issues as they arise.
  • Document incoming issues meticulously and strive for immediate resolution; escalate complex problems to the development team for further investigation and resolution.
  • Meet and uphold the established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with the service, functioning in both first and second level support capacities.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, Knowledge Base Articles, and instructional materials to enhance user experience.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with the development team to pinpoint recurring challenges and explore opportunities for enhancement.
  • Monitor system performance and gather user experience feedback to inform ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive professional background in Information Technology or a similar domain.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools.
  • Experience in a technical support role.
  • Understanding of user management and role-based access concepts.
  • Proficiency with software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub, and Grafana.
  • Competence in MS Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong command of English, with basic proficiency in German (additional languages such as Korean, Japanese, or Chinese are a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in producing documentation tailored for various audiences (e.g., end-users, administrators).
