Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee global Supply Chain operations for Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) across national and international Phase I-IV clinical trials in the General Medicine Therapeutic Area
  • Serve as the primary liaison to Clinical Operations and Clinical Development for designated trials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of clinical supplies
  • Lead the CTSU trial team within a matrix structure, promoting cross-functional collaboration and the development of interfaces for all Supply Chain activities based on business, regulatory, and industry requirements
  • Contribute to clinical trial protocols and bulk demand assessments, including comparator and non-IMP commercial products, as well as specific packaging designs and efficient distribution strategies
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support investigations for assigned trials

Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree in natural sciences or related fields, or equivalent vocational training with clinical trial experience
  • Several years of experience in clinical trial supplies or a related field
  • Proven experience in an international setting, including team leadership and project management
  • Ideally, possess a solid understanding of regulatory and GMP/GCP requirements for IMPs
  • Ability to interpret complex project specifications
  • Proficient in software applications (MS-Office)
  • Proficient in German, both written and spoken
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to decision-making and achieving results
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
