Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our Renewables team in Düsseldorf. This role involves:

  • Acquisition Management: Overseeing the preparation and execution of acquisitions for early-stage development projects and managing the disposal of renewable projects or portfolios ranging from 0.5 to 1 GW annually.
  • Team Leadership: Leading internal project teams and coordinating with external advisors to address project challenges and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Negotiation: Engaging in negotiations regarding transaction structures and commercial terms with relevant stakeholders.
  • Joint Venture Management: Overseeing joint ventures, partnership frameworks, and acquired entities.
  • Collaborative Environment: Fostering optimal collaboration within the Renewables team, which includes developers, engineers, offtake managers, market analysts, and a network of external partners.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Extensive relevant experience in commercial renewables, corporate M&A, corporate finance, or similar roles.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, along with experience in leading project teams.
  • A solid understanding of the economic drivers behind utility-scale solar-PV and wind assets.
  • A creative and open-minded approach, complemented by a good sense of humor.
  • A proven track record of international work experience and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
  • A high degree of mobility and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
