Position Overview:

Become a vital part of our team at Mazars GmbH & Co. KG as an IT Risk and Compliance Advisor within the financial services industry. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our clients' IT security and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and security evaluations.
  • Engage in IT system audits and contribute to projects for banking and insurance sectors.
  • Utilize advanced software tools to facilitate business audits.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on IT-related challenges.
  • Support annual audit processes and assess the operational structures of financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in (Business) Informatics, Economics, or Business Engineering.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial and tax accounting.
  • Experience in auditing or IT auditing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
  • A service-oriented mindset with strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
