Join Our Team as a Fuel Systems Development Engineer

At OSB AG, we are looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to our innovative projects in aerospace engineering.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the integration of fuel systems and fire protection systems into aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety, reliability, and certification standards.
  • Develop and specify system architecture, including the derivation of requirements and the creation of qualification programs.
  • Conduct ground and flight tests, preparing necessary certification and clearance documentation.
  • Manage interfaces with other systems, providing support for system-related queries and issues.
  • Address thermo-fluid dynamics and mechanical engineering challenges, utilizing numerical simulation tools and analytical methods.
  • Lead technical investigations into defects, developing solutions and managing modification processes.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Engage with internal departments to monitor technological advancements and identify gaps in technology.

Your Profile:

  • Possess a Degree in Engineering, preferably a master's or diploma in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Bring relevant aerospace experience, with foundational knowledge in fuel systems.
  • Demonstrate understanding of system architectures, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
  • Have a solid grasp of air vehicle systems and experience in equipment engineering.
  • Be proficient in MS Office and have specialized knowledge in tools like Doors.
  • Ideally, have experience with numerical modeling and simulation tools such as Star CCM+, Simcenter Amesim, or CATIA.
  • Be open to international travel as required.
  • Possess language proficiency in both German and English.
