Role Responsibilities:

As a working student in project engineering, you will support the team on the technical project management around the integration of third-party robots to our automation platform AnyFleet. This involves collaborating with the team to prepare and execute workshops with partners and/or customers to conduct technical gap analysis and define requirements. You will leverage the knowledge gained during the robotic partner integration projects to assist on the progressing of the VDA 5050 interface. Additionally, you will draft pull requests and participate in discussions around the future of the VDA 5050 standard on GitHub. Furthermore, you will conduct research on the state-of-the-art of robotic solutions as well as standardized interfaces in the mobile robotics context and deduce appropriate recommendations.

Role Requirements:

You are at an advanced stage of your studies with a background in robotics, mechanical, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering with a focus in these fields and above-average academic performance. You are characterized by very good analytical skills and a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working. Your strengths also include very good MS PowerPoint skills, initiative, and a high sense of responsibility.

Strong communication skills as well as good written and spoken German and very good English skills characterize you. Initial experience as an intern or working student in the robotics or automation field is a plus. You are curious and interested in the development of industrial automation and mobile robotics topics. You are available up to 20 but a minimum of 15 hours per week to support on the listed topics.

Why Idealworks:

With us, you will find an international working environment and become part of an experienced, open team in which mutual trust counts and you will feel comfortable from the very first second.
