Position Overview

We are currently seeking an

Experienced Electrical Engineer for Grid Connection in Solar Energy

to be based in our offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing electrical systems for medium and high voltage grid connections
  • Creating electrical designs for extensive photovoltaic installations
  • Providing specialized knowledge in electrical engineering to project teams and the Engineering department
  • Engaging with grid operators to discuss technical requirements for grid connections
  • Assisting the Development team in identifying the most cost-effective grid connection solutions
  • Serving as the primary technical liaison during the construction phase for installation and quality assurance

Essential Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge in electrical engineering and MV/HV grid connections
  • A master's degree in electrical engineering with several years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with applicable norms and standards for electrical design in Germany (VDE)
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal
  • A passion for renewable energy
  • Experience in the electrical design of large-scale PV plants is advantageous, but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required
