Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing complex systems, including Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Personal Locator System (PLS).
Your Responsibilities:- Develop and manage development of AIS and PLS systems, sub-systems, and equipment, including systems architecture provided by external suppliers.
- Responsible for specifying systems considering safety, quality, performance, cost, environmental, operational, and industrial requirements.
- Monitor, review, and validate supplier deliverables.
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, aerospace, or a comparable field.
- Long-year professional experience in systems and equipment engineering is mandatory.
- Knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering is necessary.
- Expertise in AIS and PLS systems, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience in digital ICD and electrical installation design tools, such as CAMEO or ICDMS, would be a plus.
- Experience implementing regulations and standards like DO178/278, 254, ARP4754, and others related to sensor equipment is required.
- Very good knowledge of English.
