Operational Technology Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology Specialist to join our team at Intersnack. As a key member of our Operational Technology department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the rollout of Project ONE, integrating various systems like MES and MessDas, and providing training to key users.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project ONE by integrating technology solutions across management units and integrating various systems like MES and MessDas.
- System Integration & Testing: Support local teams with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Onsite Go-Live Support: Provide hands-on Go-Live support and hypercare post-implementation onsite.
- Training: Train key users in plants on new process templates and systems.
- Maintain Test Environments: Manage and maintain the central test environments for MES, ensuring operational continuity.
Requirements
- University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Administration – or similar experience.
- Min. 5 years' work experience in FMCG (ideally food), IT, or Consulting roles would be desirable.
- Hands-on experience with MES systems and programming.
- Knowledge of PLCs, OPC/Kepware, and project management (experience with MES implementations is a plus).
- Fluent in English; German or other Intersnack languages are beneficial.
