Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and coordinate transformation processes, such as reserve power plants, hydrogen/gas power plants
- Transition from coal to gas and ensure the possibility of later conversion to hydrogen
- Manage and coordinate commercial topics for reserve power plants with a focus on fuel
- Negotiate asset-based contracts with stakeholders, such as transmission system operators and regulatory authorities
- Ensure optimized processes with internal (e.g., controlling, asset management) and external stakeholders
- Develop and optimize fuel supply within the existing regulatory framework
- Identify and evaluate contract-related risks and opportunities
- Handle ad-hoc topics from the fields of energy economics and commercial network management
Your Profile
- Completed studies in engineering and/or economics
- At least three years of experience in the energy sector
- High interest in energy economics, (coal) power plants, and knowledge of energy raw materials (e.g., coal, gas, oil)
- Experience in commercial network management and regulation is welcome
- Strong customer orientation and networking skills with commercial thinking and a high degree of self-initiative
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly and concisely
- Highly collaborative attitude, ability to work seamlessly with other functions
- German and English on a professional working level as a prerequisite
