Cybersecurity Officer

Location: Flexible working arrangement within Germany with a regular on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance of Information Security: You will enhance the governance framework of the Kärcher Group's Information Security, ensuring alignment with industry-leading practices through the development of policies, processes, and roles. Compliance and Standardization: You will oversee the adherence of our global Information Security Management System to ISO 27001 standards. Training and Awareness: You will create engaging e-learning modules and provide education to employees across all levels regarding security threats and best practices. Incident Management: In the event of data breaches or cyber incidents, you will establish protocols detailing response actions and timelines. Risk Evaluation and Mitigation: You will identify and evaluate potential information security risks, developing strategies to mitigate impacts and enhance security measures.

Desired Qualifications:

A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in information security or cyber security within a global organization or consultancy. Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, or other relevant security frameworks. Deep understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption methods. Proficiency in Business English with effective communication skills; knowledge of German is a plus. Relevant certifications such as TISP, CISSP, or CCSP are advantageous, with opportunities for acquisition through our company. An analytical approach, a strong solution-oriented mindset, and enthusiasm for collaborative work in diverse teams.
