Location: Flexible working arrangements within Germany, with a focus on collaboration and regular in-person engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance of Information Security: You will enhance the governance framework for information security across the Kärcher Group, aligning policies, processes, and roles with leading industry standards.
  • Compliance and Certification: You will oversee the adherence of our global Information Security Management System to ISO 27001 standards.
  • Training and Awareness: You will create and implement e-learning modules to educate employees at all levels about potential security threats.
  • Incident Management: You will establish protocols for responding to data breaches and cyber incidents, detailing the necessary actions and timelines.
  • Risk Management: You will evaluate information security risks, determining their potential impact on the organization, and develop preventive strategies to enhance security measures.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in information security or cybersecurity within a global industrial setting or consulting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, or other relevant security frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
  • Proficiency in Business English, with excellent communication skills; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as TISP, CISSP, or CCSP are advantageous and can be pursued through our organization.
  • A problem-solving mindset, a collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for working in diverse teams.
