Join Our Team as a Student Assistant for Radar and Communication Signal Processing

We are seeking a highly motivated student assistant to participate in the development of signal processing algorithms for multi-antenna systems for integrated sensing and communication (ISAC). This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advanced signal processing and waveform design, while contributing to cutting-edge research in ISAC systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the performance of a beampattern synthesis and waveform design method developed in our group
  • Assess the performance for various propagation scenarios
  • Extend the simulator to support arbitrary antenna array geometries
  • Modify the simulator to take the quantization effects in digital-to-analog converters (DACs) into account
Requirements:
  • Full-time student status at a German university with good grades, in the fields of electrical engineering, communications engineering, or similar
  • Interest in radar and communication signal processing
  • Mathematical maturity with strong grasp of linear algebra and statistics
  • Familiarity with antenna array signal processing methods
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Ability to understand and implement algorithms from academic papers
