Energy Markets Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Markets Strategist to join our team at E Energy Markets GmbH in Essen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering in-depth analysis of the price and fundamental development of global commodity markets.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze energy market data to identify high-level trading opportunities, including managing E.200 TWh power & gas through strategic hedging decisions and open position management in forward markets with a focus on long- and midterm portfolio strategies.
- Lead initiatives to build and mature a large, international energy customer portfolio as part of E.
- Develop and implement effective portfolio strategies to optimize returns and minimize risk.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong knowledge of energy markets, including commodity pricing, risk management, and trading strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
