Senior Technical Project Leader

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Leader to oversee our testing initiatives and ensure the highest quality standards in our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing test environments utilizing advanced software and hardware tools.
  • Managing the Testing Life Cycle, including writing test specifications, planning test cases, scripting, executing tests, analyzing reports, and debugging issues.
  • Leading and mentoring the testing team, addressing queries, and monitoring progress.
  • Engaging with clients to comprehend their technical requirements and expectations.
  • Estimating project activities and formulating test plans based on complexity assessments.
  • Conducting Diagnostic and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
  • Working with various communication protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, and LIN.
  • Utilizing tools like Vector, DSpace, Trace32, INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and PTC Integrity.
  • Performing smoke tests and manual software testing.
  • Employing Python automation for database maintenance.
  • Debugging source code to resolve intricate defects.
  • Processing Functional Safety requirements.
  • Implementing model-based design using MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Writing source code in Embedded C and conducting sanity testing.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 9 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Requirement analysis for Application Software (ASW) testing.
  • HIL test specification and script writing using Python, along with execution and report analysis.
  • Structured approach to work as a test lead.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating offshore activities and client interactions.
  • Ability to manage ASW/testing teams both offshore and onsite.
  • Extensive experience in software testing, execution, debugging, and failure analysis.
  • Direct engagement with clients and offshore team members for coordination, query resolution, reviews, and release activities.

Essential Competencies:

  • Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Strong background in requirement analysis.
  • Experience in ASW testing.
