Product Controller Job Description

At Simpson Judge Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Controller to join our financial operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and controlling product-related financials, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Cost Controlling: Analyze and control product costs, ensuring alignment with budget and forecasted financial goals.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed financial reports and analyses related to product performance, variances, and profitability.
  • Financial Forecasting: Assist in forecasting production costs and contribute to financial planning processes.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce production costs and improve profitability without compromising product quality.
  • Data Management: Manage and interpret financial data related to the production process, offering insights to improve decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production and operational teams to ensure financial transparency and cost control.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; a professional finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of product costing and financial analysis.
  • Systems: Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Languages: Fluency in both German and English.
