Job Title: Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team at Mazars GmbH & Co. KG. As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to legal entities of public law and their companies on ongoing and strategic tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tax returns and financial statements for public sector clients
  • Creating expert opinions on tax issues and participating in tax-motivated restructurings
  • Participating in special projects such as corporate transactions and restructurings

Requirements:

  • Degree in economics, finance or law with a focus on taxation, or completed training as a tax clerk or a diploma as a tax officer
  • Practical experience in tax consulting, e.g. through an internship or previous training
  • Good knowledge of DATEV programs and MS Office
