Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Databricks. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the infrastructure and products that power our platform.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects, including:
- Designing and implementing scalable and reliable distributed systems
- Developing high-performance services and client libraries for storing and accessing large amounts of data
- Building and maintaining complex data pipelines and workflows
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Software Engineer who has a strong background in computer science and a passion for building scalable and reliable systems. If you have experience working with Java, Scala, C++, or similar languages, and have a strong understanding of distributed systems and data pipelines, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
- 7+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, C++, or similar languages
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
- Good knowledge of SQL
