Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in fixed asset management, financial reporting, and process optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the correct recording of fixed assets, determination of depreciation, and preparation of the fixed asset schedule. Additionally, they will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP. The candidate will also be responsible for accounting of companies within the scope of SSC (national & international) in accordance with HGB and US GAAP, and handling day-to-day general ledger accounting for acquired companies. Collaboration on SAP and process optimization projects in accounting and asset accounting is also a key aspect of this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Ensure the correct recording of fixed assets
* Determine depreciation and prepare the fixed asset schedule
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
* Account for companies within the scope of SSC (national & international) in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
* Handle day-to-day general ledger accounting for acquired companies
* Collaborate on SAP and process optimization projects in accounting and asset accounting

**Requirements:**

* Completed commercial vocational training with additional qualification as an accountant or completed business studies, preferably with a focus on group accounting, auditing, or similar
* Many years of relevant professional experience in accounting in accordance with HGB, US GAAP, or IFRS
* Good knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana and MS Office, especially Excel
* Fluent German & English, both written and spoken
