About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Architect to join our team at Alpha-Engineering KG. As an Avionics Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing the systems architecture for our cutting-edge avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system architecture for avionics systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Take ownership of system development and manage the implementation cycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Produce system documentation, including requirements, interfaces, and certification documentation
  • Develop and participate in test activities at system and aircraft level
  • Manage supplier activities and ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in a relevant field, preferably with a Master's degree
  • Extensive experience in avionics systems, including Cockpit Display Systems, Integrated Modular Avionics, and Navigation
  • Experience in working with external suppliers and managing supplier activities
  • Hands-on experience with software development and architecture, as well as DO 178B/C and DO 254
  • Fluent English language skills, with proficiency in German or other languages a plus
