About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Engineer to join our team at Alpha-Engineering KG. As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of advanced avionics systems for our cutting-edge aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system architecture for avionics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Take ownership of system development, from requirements gathering to delivery, and ensure seamless integration with other departments and external suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Produce high-quality system documentation, including requirements, interfaces, and certification documentation.
  • Develop and execute test plans, ensuring system functionality and performance meet specifications.
  • Manage supplier activities and ensure timely delivery of components and services.
  • Continuously improve system designs and concepts, driving innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (M. Eng. or M. Sc. preferred) in relevant fields, such as electrical engineering, computer science, or aerospace engineering.
  • Extensive experience in avionics systems, including cockpit display systems, integrated modular avionics, and navigation systems.
  • Proven track record of working with external suppliers and managing complex projects.
  • Hands-on experience with software development, architecture, and testing, as well as hardware development and certification processes.
  • Fluent English language skills, with proficiency in German or other languages a plus.
