Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant / Balancing Specialist to join our team at Mediengruppe Oberfranken. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for preparing and examining financial statements, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) guidelines.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Independently process ongoing business transactions, including general ledger, payment transaction processing, and preparation of VAT returns.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare, examine, and provide business evaluations to support informed decision-making.
- Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal departments, auditors, and tax consultants, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Education and Experience: Successfully completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or commercial training with successful further training as an accountant.
- Professional Experience: Relevant professional experience in a public accounting firm or an industrial company.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP/FI and MS Office.
- Soft Skills: Independent work with high attention to detail and quality, good analytical thinking, high level of commitment, and strong social skills.
