SAP Utilities Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant SAP Utilities to join our team at adesso orange AG. As a Senior Consultant SAP Utilities, you will be responsible for supporting renowned companies in the energy and water sector with SAP ISU and S/4HANA Utilities, particularly in the areas of billing, market communication, energy data management, and smart metering.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support to clients in the implementation and integration of SAP modules in energy-related processes and systems, as well as the development of IT strategies and their implementation.
- Analyze business processes and create solution concepts for optimized business operations and IT architectures in the energy sector.
- Lead project teams in the implementation of the concept into a functioning application system, including roll-out and post-implementation support.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in energy economics, energy technology, business administration, or a related field, as well as several years of experience in the consulting and/or SAP field with in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following areas: market communication, billing, smart metering, or energy data management.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in ABAP and debugging, as well as programming experience.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the energy sector.
- Fluency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
