About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer - Primary Technology to join our team at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of primary technology projects, including high-voltage transmission lines and substations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and participating in the primary technical planning and implementation of transmission lines and substations
  • Developing concepts and evaluating and testing various alternatives
  • Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including specifications and quality control reports
  • Supporting the preparation of technical offers and proposals
  • Responding to tenders and supporting business development for customers in the transmission line and substation sector
  • Providing technical expertise and support to customers and stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining technical standards, guidelines, and documentation for primary technology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Several years of experience in the design and implementation of transmission lines and substations
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • A passion for sustainability and a strong interest in renewable energy and its various technologies
  • Fluent German language skills and excellent English language skills
