Flight Mechanics Engineer

Be part of a dynamic team at OSB AG and take on the challenge of developing innovative flight mechanics models and simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new flight mechanics models and simulation tools for handling qualities.
  • Take responsibility for individual clearance assessment tasks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and check existing simulation models, input data, and cases.
  • Provide support for flight test campaigns and analyze flight test data.
  • Collaborate with interface disciplines such as aerodynamics, fuel/stores, system design, loads, and safety.
  • Maintain and update existing tools and perform linear and non-linear simulations for clearance activities.
  • Analyze aerodynamic data and complex simulation results.
  • Document and summarize simulation results.
Requirements:
  • Master's or diploma degree in Aerospace.
  • First experience in IT and Aviation environments.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: MATLAB, Simulink, C, or C++.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Strong team player with good German and English skills.
