Therapeutic Educator

Our open pedagogy is based on the Fröbel principles: 'Relationship - Individualization - Participation'. With a focus on 'Movement and Relaxation', we benefit from our rural location, surrounded by fields and a nearby organic farm that the children regularly visit. There, they learn about the farm and nature through the seasons, help with animal care, and develop a deeper understanding of the environment and sustainability. Our two ASB visit dogs enrich the daily routine, promoting social-emotional competence, stress relief, and self-confidence. We strive for a balance between movement and relaxation for a healthy body awareness of the children and continuously develop this focus according to their needs.

• You will diagnose and support children with developmental challenges. You will advise colleagues and provide expertise on disability-specific knowledge, pedagogical strategies, and aspects such as room design and establishing framework conditions that promote diversity.
• In development plans, you will work with colleagues to establish the prerequisites for the development of the children's personalities and the acquisition of new competencies. You will design with parents and the team positive and enjoyable transitions of children into new life and development phases.
• You will lead the idea of children being able to shape their own world, as expressed in our new annual motto '#Together'. At the same time, we are closing the time of Corona restrictions: together instead of each one alone. Please see our YouTube music video here.

• You hold a degree in Therapeutic Pedagogy (m/w/d).
• You are passionate about working with children and can adapt well to their interests and needs.
• You are interested in further professional development or already possess additional qualifications, such as language support, nutrition and movement, nature pedagogy, or music education.
