Senior Broadcast Material Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Your role involves managing key accounts with licensors and partner broadcasters, ensuring proactive and organized coordination in the procurement and processing of broadcast materials.
  • A significant part of your daily tasks includes coordinating the creation of all broadcast materials (both linear and non-linear) in collaboration with the internal technical team.
  • You will oversee the ongoing coordination of materials with dubbing studios and external service providers, focusing on the creation of German dubbed versions and enhancing cooperation with surrounding teams.
  • Your responsibilities also encompass the timely delivery of broadcast materials for films and series across all Sky channels and non-linear platforms.
  • In addition to conducting independent research in the archive and optimizing workflows proactively, you will ensure effective coordination based on contracts with relevant departments regarding material delivery.
  • You will be responsible for project coordination related to channel launches, assisting in the introduction of new services and technologies, and actively supporting the testing and monitoring of new workflows from a content logistics perspective.
Qualifications
  • A degree or completed commercial apprenticeship, along with 4-6 years of professional experience in the film and television sector, is required.
  • Experience in broadcast material coordination (linear and non-linear) and a solid technical understanding, particularly in file processing, is essential.
  • Your strong communication and organizational skills, combined with commitment and reliability, enable you to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • A technical affinity for film and television, along with in-depth operational project management support, are among your key strengths.
  • You should be proficient in content management systems such as APIx or Content Explorer and ScheduAll, with a focus on proactive problem-solving and workflow optimization.
  • Fluency in English and excellent written and spoken German skills are necessary to complete your profile.
