Position Overview:

As a Financial Analyst within the CFO Office at tonies, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential insights and analytical support to the Chief Financial Officer. Your contributions will be crucial in guiding strategic business decisions and enhancing financial performance. This position demands a meticulous, analytical, and proactive individual with a robust background in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member of the CFO Office, reporting directly to the Director of CFO Office & Performance Management, assisting in daily operations including ad-hoc requests, proposal reviews, and meeting preparations.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Director to formulate and execute a long-term strategic Finance roadmap.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for special projects and initiatives as directed by the CFO, focusing on business performance, investment opportunities, potential mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic endeavors.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses (e.g., variance analysis, trend evaluation, market research) and financial modeling to assess various projects.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, delivering regular updates to the CFO regarding performance initiatives.
  • Lead selected high-profile projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of significant governance and external meetings, including Supervisory Board and Audit Committee meetings.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards for the CFO and the executive Finance leadership team.
  • Support the Finance team during critical periods, such as the preparation of earnings materials and quarterly and annual financial statements.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for Finance and a desire to influence the Finance Function and key projects within a dynamic, publicly listed company.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven track record of thought leadership in significant projects.
  • Ability to synthesize insights from diverse sources and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling (e.g., business cases, discounted cash flow analysis), analysis, and forecasting, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to produce high-quality presentations and executive reports with a concise, top-down communication style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management.
  • Solid knowledge of financial tools and applications (e.g., Excel, Jedox, Tableau).
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate finance, top-tier consulting, or a similar role with a clear Finance focus.
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is required. Additional relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are highly preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting and reporting principles; experience in a publicly listed company is advantageous but not mandatory.
