Lead In Vitro PK Group at Nuvisan GmbH

Assume leadership for the In Vitro PK group at Nuvisan GmbH's Grafing site, overseeing a laboratory unit and direct reports. Ensure staff training and development to enhance capabilities and strengths.

Coordinate work to optimize resource utilization and achieve financial targets. Foster smooth and timely collaboration with other groups.

Contribute to operational, financial, and strategic decisions, supporting Nuvisan's mission and objectives.

Provide scientific guidance to clients, particularly in in vitro PK, identifying project issues and developing solutions with client representatives and line management.

Evaluate and implement new technologies, techniques, and skills aligned with the site strategy, driving continuous process improvement.

Author, edit, and review service estimates, reports, quality documents, and marketing materials, ensuring high quality.

Represent the function and scientific area externally upon request.

Requirements

  • PhD in pharmacy, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields with relevant DMPK experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech industry, or at CROs.
  • Excellent understanding of in vitro ADME assays in drug candidate selection and development.
  • Experience in leading teams with more than 5 direct reports.
  • Profound knowledge of the drug discovery and development process and DMPK studies' contribution.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English and German.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, high personal initiative.
