About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team at SumUp. As a key member of our development squad, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop major features that impact our developer community
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to drive our roadmap and design our developer experience
  • Help us rethink problems we've solved before differently as requirements evolve
  • Build a wealth of knowledge about our complex problem domain, as well as its implications on the long-term health of our project
Requirements
  • Experience with Kotlin and the Android framework
  • Knowledge of what to test, why to test it, and how to write flexible tests that won't break
  • Care about user interaction and usability, and have attention to detail
  • Love coding and take the time to reflect on all aspects of your implementation
  • Strive for clean code but also know how to be pragmatic when needed
