About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team at Raisin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our Frontend applications for performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance Frontend applications using modern web technologies.
- Drive internal platform efforts to improve development tools and Frontend ecosystem.
- Contribute to building the development infrastructure used by stream-aligned teams.
- Research and develop new technology solutions for our Frontend Platform.
- Collaborate with the team to set standards, establish guidelines, and share best practices.
- Provide stable automated solutions for internal customers to speed up product testing and delivery.
- Nurture teams to strive for test automation and quality assurance throughout the development process.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Full Stack engineer.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Strong experience with React or similar frameworks/libraries.
- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components.
- Experience with Static Site Generators, the JAM-Stack, (headless-) Content Management Systems, and material-ui is a plus.
- Experience working with automated testing frameworks like Jest.
- Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture and monorepo setup.
- Good understanding of Frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, Babel.
- Strong passion for Platform Engineering practices and experience with modern CI/CD and automation for Frontend.
- Comfortable driving technical and architectural discussions.
- Open-minded and creative team player with great English communication skills.
