About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team at Raisin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our product.

Responsibilities
  • Optimize Frontend applications for performance and scalability, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Drive internal platform efforts, improving development tools and Frontend ecosystem according to modern principles.
  • Contribute to building the development infrastructure used by stream-aligned teams, and drive different automation and integration projects with regard to the latest technology.
  • Research, assess, develop, and maintain new technology solutions for our Frontend Platform.
  • Collaborate with the team to set standards, establish guidelines, and share best practices to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
  • Provide stable automated solutions for our internal customers to speed up product testing and delivery.
  • Nurture teams to strive for test automation and quality assurance throughout the development process.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Full Stack engineer.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Strong experience with React or similar frameworks/libraries.
  • Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components.
  • Experience with Static Site Generators, the JAM-Stack, (headless-) Content Management Systems, and material-ui is a plus.
  • Experience working with automated testing frameworks like Jest.
  • Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture and monorepo setup.
  • Good understanding of Frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, Babel.
  • Devoted to quality and adhere to best practices within the JavaScript community.
  • Strong passion for Platform Engineering practices and hands-on experience with modern CI/CD and automation for Frontend.
  • Comfortable driving and participating in technical and architectural discussions.
  • Open-minded and creative team player who is eager to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our technology and culture.
  • Great English communication skills.
