About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team at VR Smart Guide GmbH. As a senior mobile engineer, you will play a key role in developing our FinCheck application further, adding new features, and supporting the web version.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable mobile applications using React Native
  • Develop applications, libraries, and extensions with a focus on quality and performance
  • Write automated tests to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
  • Manage mobile application releases and ensure a smooth user experience
  • Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Identify opportunities to improve development flow and implement new technologies
  • Enable other teams to reuse common components across platforms
  • Collaborate with the API team to ensure seamless integration with our web application
  • Advocate for code quality and best practices throughout the development process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience as a mobile engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience with React Native
  • Experience working with Typescript and a deep understanding of APIs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts
