Senior Power Electronics Applications Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Applications Manager to lead our Applications Engineering team in Munich. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a team focused on advanced power electronics (silicon carbide) and will have a strong background in electrical or electronics engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership on silicon carbide devices used in modules.
- Guide team-level management of design, simulation, assembly, and testing of various proof-of-concept converter/inverter prototypes, including cooling, gate drive, sensing/protection, and controls.
- Interface with SiC device scientists and reliability colleagues to understand and bound application-sensitive device behavior.
- Answer technical inquiries from existing and prospective customers with proper documentation and timely feedback/analysis.

- Master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
- Strong expertise in power electronics applications, including on-board and off-board chargers, automotive traction drives, UPS systems, and energy storage systems.
- Ability to lead and grow a small, high-performance team.
- Passionate about pushing products to their limits to validate entitled performance.
- Comfortable pushing to failure to enable fast learning cycles and continuous improvement.
