About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Expert to join our Data and Analytics Team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems, with a focus on Databricks, machine learning, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Pillar and DP World regional operations to drive change within Group Technology.
  • Work closely with Operations Excellence, Finance, HR, Sales, and Procurement to support leaders on performance for your Business Unit.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with procurement and finance to support DP World policies and processes.
  • Support Group Compliance, Group People, and Legal in support of DP World policies and legal requirements in DP World business regions.
  • Maintain open communication with all key IT and business leaders to ensure top-level IT service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Databricks and machine learning.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala (Pyspark preferred).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Databricks Associate Certification required.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
  • Knowledge and experience in using the MS Azure Analytics Services, especially Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and MS Purview.
  • Power BI knowledge preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
