Job Title: Development Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer to join our team at NOV Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products and services, including independent project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and provide guidance on engineering tasks using established procedures, including stress analysis, design calculations, material selection, cost estimates, and tolerance studies.
- Research, design, assemble, and test prototypes, documenting all results.
- Independently lead and coordinate projects for new product development and product line-related sustaining work, providing regular reviews.
- Perform and guide on design activities, coordinating with Designer Drafter for creation of drawings, test procedures, and Engineering Change Orders.
- Independently work and coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, production, and manufacturing to provide technical data and product information for manufacturing of prototypes to commercialization of products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Excellent English and German oral and written communication skills.
