British American Tobacco Germany is pleased to announce an opening for International Management Trainees in Marketing (m/f/d) based in Hamburg.

What does this role entail?

As an International Management Trainee in Marketing, you will embark on a unique 24-month program designed to lay the groundwork for a successful and globally oriented career. You will engage in cross-functional and cross-market initiatives within Central Europe, which encompasses key markets such as Germany, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and the Baltics.

Starting Salary: 55,800€ + annual bonus

Language Proficiency: Fluency in German and English is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain valuable insights through various rotations within the Marketing department, including Digital, E-Commerce, Offline Activation, Brand, and Trade Marketing.
  • Acquire skills in developing brand strategies, executing and monitoring marketing campaigns, and managing diverse channels to ensure long-term success.
  • Expand your professional network through an international rotation in our offices abroad.
  • Collaborate with a senior leader who will serve as your personal coach, guiding you throughout the program and supporting your professional and personal growth.
  • Contribute to shaping our Marketing agenda and strategy, offering innovative ideas on projects that enhance our brand portfolio.
  • Accelerate your learning by working collaboratively across functions and managing relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Understand our sales operations through a rotation in our Field Force.

What are we looking for?

  • Proficiency in both German and English is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Management, or Communications.
  • Relevant experience as an intern or working student (minimum of 4 months).
  • International exposure through a semester or internship abroad (minimum of 4 months).
  • A dynamic and passionate individual with strong communication, conceptual, and analytical abilities.
  • Ambitious international career aspirations and willingness to relocate.
  • A solid leadership mindset.
