About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Digital Business Leader to join our team at thyssenkrupp Elevator. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our global digital strategy, ensuring that our digital solutions are aligned with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing global team that is responsible for defining, delivering, and scaling high-quality digital solutions that add business value to our customers and stakeholders.
    • Manage and run a diverse team with expertise in product management, digital, QA/testing, UX/UI, and other relevant areas.
    • Work closely with our Chief Digital Officer and fellow leaders to design and run transformational programs that focus on transforming our business through digital innovation.
    • Collaborate with global digital business leaders to define priorities and ensure that our digital products can be scaled end-to-end.
    • Work closely with external stakeholders to gather insights, feedback, and requirements, as well as with relevant partners (existing and new).
  • Strategic and Program Management Leadership
    • Support the development and operationalization of our global strategy and define the roadmap(s) to implement digital elements that are ingrained in our customer- and service technician-facing solutions.
    • Lead and drive the execution of complex digital programs from concept to delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion personally and with the whole team(s).
    • Be responsible for delivering business and transformational value from our global digital solutions.
  • Requirements
    • Master's degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, etc.).
    • Over 10 years of experience as a team leader/business leader and strategy management consultant (or similar experience) with strong digital experience.
    • Proven hands-on experience in designing, developing, and scaling digital solutions that add business value in a global B2B setting and in collaboration with existing processes.
    • Experience with cloud software development, UX/UI, and global prioritization of requirements, all ingrained in a global setup and linking to existing backend systems.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
    • A strong leader who can build, motivate, and run teams in a team-oriented and output-oriented manner.
    • A strongly driven, pragmatic, and hands-on person who is ready to go the extra mile and do what is necessary to make the team, the transformation, and the different products a success.
